Actor Gautham Karthik had a mixed 2018 as his movies like Oru Nalla naal paathu solren and Mr Chandramouli met with lukewarm responses, while the adult comedy entertainer Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu had a fairly successful outing at the box office with youth patronage.

His next release is going to be the long delayed action flick Devarattam directed by Muthiah of Komban, Marudhu and Kutty Puli fame who had last directed the Sasikumar starrer Kodi Veeran released in 2017. Here's the latest update on the release of Devarattam.

Even as there were controversies over the naming of the movie as Devarattam and it still remains unresolved, as per latest buzz, the makers of the movie Studio Green have planned to release Devarattam on April 12. An official announcement is expected soon. Devarattam has Manjima Mohan playing the female lead.
