Geetha Govindam storms into 2M dollar club

'Geetha Govindam' has successfully become a USD 2 million movie in the US. Riding on a Vijay Devarakonda wave, this romantic-family entertainer has done it in less than two weeks flat.

The film mopped up $151,967 on Saturday to make it to the coveted club. Its total gross now stands at $2,023,173. In the history of Telugu cinema, this is the 12th film to have this achievement in its pocket.

Before this film, 'Rangasthalam', 'Bharat Ane Nenu', 'Agnyathavaasi' and 'Mahanati' too had crossed the two million dollar mark. While the first three feature big stars, 'Mahanati' and 'GG' are not superstar films. As such, their achievement at the US BO is really huge.
