Following Ramana, Director A R Murugadoss's Ghajini too, would be remade in Kannada.

Adding one more feather in the cap of Murugadoss would be this Kannada remake of Ghajini.

The movie would star Kannada matinee idol Upendra in the lead role and actress Ramya, who made her debut in Tamil with Kuthu, will be playing the role of Asin in the Kannada version. Deepika Padukone will play the role of Nayantra.

It may be noted that Ramana, which was remade as Vishnu Sena featuring Vishnuvardhan, became a big grosser.

Expectations are now high on Ghajini's Kannada remake now.
