He has the artistic blood flown in him. His paternal grandfather, maternal grandfather, father, brothers-in-law, maternal uncle, maternal cousin all were related to the film industry. So, he too had an intention and zeal to make his appearance on the screen.

So, that boy asked his father to introduce him to the film industry. By that time, Dil Raju was said to be a golden hand in the film industry with almost all the films produced on his banner were big hits. So, the boy’s father introduced him to Dil Raju and gave him the responsibility to introduce him to the film industry.

He is none other than Naga Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna and grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Dil Raju introduced him with a film titled ‘Josh’. Though the title has the josh but the film doesn’t. It turned out to be a dud. Then, he made his second attempt with ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ directed by Gautham Menon and produced by Manjula on the banner of Indira Productions, the film was a big hit and he gained the star image within no time after the release of the film.

Presently his third film is in progress under the direction of Sukumar. This yet to be titled film is yet to choreograph three songs to complete its shooting. The producer of the film Bunny Vasu is planning to release the film in January next.

Born on November 23 in Hyderabad, Naga Chaitanya was brought up in Chennai with his mother after his parents got divorced. After pursuing his education, his father had decided to give his legacy to him and joined him in an acting school in Mumbai.

Subsequently, he was sent to California to learn dances and fights there in Hollywood. This young hero is getting into groove and is making a firm footing in the film industry.

Let us wish this young guy to uphold the image of not only his father and grandfather, but also his maternal grandfather, Dr D Ramanaidu, who made an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records by producing a number of films in different languages, and his uncle Venkatesh, who had a great record of the highest number of hits in his career. His cousins Rana Daggubati and others are also into acting.

Join us to wish Naga Chaitanya a Happy Birthday.
