People often believe that life in the film industry is easy for star kids but they often ignore a negative aspect that always troubles actors with filmy background. No matter how good an artist is or how much he works on himself, he'll never get the accolades he deserves if he is a star kid. Same is the case with Harshvardhan Kapoor. He knew he'll face critisism for being Anil Kapoor's son so he focused on the quality of his work and chose off beat artistic movies.

Recently he opened up about this issue. He said, "Because of the path that I've taken, with doing the alternative films and not doing the conformist, regular movies, and not being in the media too much, and doing my own thing, a lot of the people who've consumed my work have more of an idea of what I'm like. So I do get not as much hate. Obviously, no matter how well I do, no matter how many films I do, no matter what I achieve in life, there will be a small minority of people that will want to hate me because I'm Anil Kapoor's son."

Harshvardhan believes he can't do anything about it so he just keeps doing his thing and pushing his limits.
