He treated me like a brother: Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi today paid homage to Vijaya Bapineedu's mortal remains.  The director-producer had died on Tuesday morning in Hyderabad.

Looking visibly sad, Chiru said that Bapineedu would always treat him as a brother.  'Khaidi No. 786' and 'Gang Leader' are the biggest milestone movies in their combination.

Senior actor Dr. Mohan Babu has described Bapineedu as a soft person who was a very good director and writer.  "I knew him since his days with Ramoji Rao garu's production company," he said.

Bapineedu's last rites will be held on Thursday.  His family members are waiting for the arrival of his daughter, who has been in the US.
