Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is basking in the success of Dictator, has begun preparations for his 100th movie. The actor has been tapping various options and is contemplating to work either in a socio-fantasy or an historical drama. According to our well-placed sources, veteran writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao's son Paruchuri Ravindranath has readied a historical script to Balakrishna. Already, Ravi has narrated the script to the Simha actor and is waiting for his response. The film will showcase Balayya in a historical yet powerful avatar.

Sources in the know say that the script is unique and first-of-its-kind in Telugu cinema. If everything falls in place, Balakrishna would be rewriting the history books of Tollywood with this script. "Balakrishna has been looking for some mature scripts. He wants his 100th film to be special and is exploring options with some eminent writers of Tollywood," confides a source. Touted to be the most expensive film in Balakrishna`s career, the project will have huge significance for special effects. The VFX team of Baahubali will spearhead the special effects department for this film, says the buzz.

Though there have been intense speculations of Balakrishna working in the sequel of Aditya 369, chances are bright for the actor to go ahead with this historical script, avers a source close to the actor.
