Meera Jasmine, who is busy doing Malayalam films has come out strongly against men who sexually assault women, suggesting that extreme punishment like castration is the only way of punishing them. She is of the opinion that then the men won't dare touch a woman again.

Meera spoke at a press conference with a dalit woman whose daughter was raped and killed near Perumbavoor. Meanwhile her latest movie `10 Kalpanakkal` directed by Don Max has released to decent reception and the film also deals with a serial rapist who murders his victims and goes scot free because of legal loop holes.
