Isaignani Ilaiyaraja who is one of the most respected and senior most celebrities of the film industry lost his cool when he was addressing reporters during the Thanks meet for volunteers who involved themselves in relief and rescue operations for the rain and flood affected victims of Chennai, today.

The septuagenarian composer was visibly provoked when a reporter asked him to spell out his stand on the infamous beep song and the controversy surrounding it. He angrily retorted in a harsh tone saying that the purpose of his visit was not to speak about beep song.

Noting that the situation was going out of control. the organizers intervened to pacify Ilaiyaraja and the reporter and the former was taken inside the auditorium.
