Ilayathalapathy Vijay`s Bairavaa` locked the Pongal holiday for release a few months back and at that time it looked like the film will go solo with not much competition. But now it looks like S3`, Shivalinga`, Server Sundaram`, Nenjam Marappathillai` and Bruce Lee` are said to be in the race for the big holidays with some even confirming it.

It is worth noting that Suriya, Santhanam, S.J. Surya and Raghava Lawrence are close to Vijay. As far as G. V. Prakash is concerned he has never missed an opportunity to show that he is a die hard fan of the Ilayathalapthy. Vijay`s Bairavaa` is likely to have tough competition from films of his close friends in the industry. But we will have to wait and watch till the beginning of the second week of January 2017 to see how the releases are planned and how many move out.
