Indian film industry mourns K Viswanath's demise

The demise of the feted director K Viswanath last midnight has left the Indian film industry mourning. Stalwarts from different film industries have condoled his demise.
Chiranjeevi said that the filmmaker's death is an irreplaceable void for the film industry as well as for him personally. "He was a man of numerous iconic, timeless films! The Legend Will Live on! (sic)," the Megastar wrote.
Mahesh Babu wrote, "The genius who brought together culture and cinema so beautifully... His impact extends far beyond cinema." Pawan Kalyan, in his long tribute, mentioned movies like 'Sirisiri Muvva', 'Swarna Kamalam', 'Sagara Sangamam', 'Sirivennela', 'Undamma Bottu Pedatha', 'O Sitha Katha', 'Swathi Muthyam', and several other titles made by the genius.
Jr NTR said that Viswanath spread the prestige of Telugu cinema across the world. He mentioned titles like 'Sankarabharanam' and 'Sagara Sangamam' in his tribute. Venkatesh wrote that he is truly saddened to hear about the sad news. "This is not just a loss to the Telugu industry but to our country," the 'Narappa' actor added.
Allu Arjun described Viswanath as a master of the craft. "One of my most most favourite directors of all time. Teacher for every actor. Pride of Indian cinema. He left us but his masterpieces will live on forever," the 'Pushpa' actor added.
Nagarjuna tweeted that another legend will be missed. "K Viswanath garu made a lasting impact with his memorable movies and characters. May his legacy continue to inspire future generations and his soul rests in peace," the senior actor tweeted.
In his poetic tribute, Kamal Haasan wrote that Viswanath fully understood the transcience of life and the immortality of art. Rajamouli said that his heart will swell with pride forever while talking about Viswanath across the world. "Your signature on Telugu Cinema and art, in general, will shine brightly forever," the 'RRR' maker wrote.
Nani wrote, "Cinema is above Boxoffice. Cinema is above Stars. Cinema is above any individual. Who taught us this? The greatest of greatest K Viswanath garu."
Nandamuri Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, Radhika Sarathkumar, Ravi Teja, and production houses like Sithara Entertainments, Mythri Movie Makers, Sri Venkateswara Creations, and several others, also mourned his demise.
