IPL matches here are an embarrassment: Rajini

Rajinikanth has on Sunday commented that that holding Indian Premier League matches in Chennai at a time when Tamil Nadu is saddened by the delay in instituting the Cauvery Board as directed by Supreme Court is embarrassing.  

The 'Kaala' star, who is yet to name his party, opined that both IPL players and spectators should be permitted to use black bands to convey protest.  

The ball is in the Centre's court and Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and a host of Kollywood stars are up against the delay.

Meanwhile, Rajini's fans are hugely awaiting the release of 'Kaala', directed by Pa.Ranjith.
