For the past few days, news has been widely circulated among media circles is that a movie in the combination of Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay and Venkat Prabhu is in discussion stage. Soon after the news came out it went viral all over social media.

Meanwhile, this afternoon Vijay took to Twitter and official made an announcement. In a little more than one minute video glimpse posted on social media platform, Vijay has revealed the details regarding his next. Tentievely titled Thalapathy 68, the film is likely to go on the floors from this year end.

While AGS Entertainment banner will be bankrolling this high-budget entertainer, Yuvan Shankar Raja is on board to compose the music for the movie. Towards the end of the video, it is revealed that Venkat Prabhu will be directing the film.

Currently, Vijay is busy with the highly-anticipated movie, Leo under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. Co-starring Trisha as the female lead,the movie has Arjun, Priya Anand and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled for October 19th release.
