Jagapathi Babu, as a popular hero in Telugu, has done it all and seen it all.

But the popular image of his is that of sentimental lover-boy, family hero almost all his big hits have cast him similar mould.

But an actor's biggest challenge is to break the mould. And Jaggu is doing just that.

In recent times, he has attempted angry and action roles.

His Jagapathi and Siva Kasi had him play rough-and-tough macho man. It is just not that, he is also attempting a negative role (lot of grey shades) in a film being produced by Ideaz, with Shashank in the lead.

In Brahmastram, directed by Soorya Kiran, Jagapathi is playing another different character.
