Vaigai Puyal has been signed up for a film with Jayam Ravi in the lead again to recreate the rib ticklers in 'Daas' and 'Mazhai'. This project will be none other than the much discussed remake of 'Kick', which will be directed by brother Raja himself.

'Kick' is one of Telugu’s most recent blockbusters, and had Shaam and Ravi Teja in the lead. This film is being remade by Kollywood’s remake specialist, director Jayam Raja, who has struck gold with every film of his, which is a Telugu remake: 'Jayam', 'M Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi', 'Unakkum Enakkum' and 'Santhosh Subramaniyam'.

He has decided to start on his next project Kick, in which Jayam Ravi will play the lead. The film will be produced by dad Editor Mohan and have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

With Ravi’s 'Peraanmai' nowhere in sight and his project with director Ameer, 'Kannabiraan', yet to begin, this should be a film the Jayam star, who recently got married, should be looking forward to.
