Kalaigniar Karunanidhi the patriarch of the DMK and one of the most respected screenwriters ever in Tamil cinema is admitted at the Kaveri Hospital in Chennai with his condition seeing a slight improvement.  Kamal Haasan, Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy and other politicians have already visited the ailing former chief minister and have extended their solidarity to the families.

Superstar Rajinikanth one of the closest friends of Karunanidhi is currently in Madurai shooting for the second schedule of his 165th film directed by Karthik Subbaraj.  Having already got in touch with the family over phone and enquiring about Kalaigniar's health, Rajinikanth is coming back to Chennai after the completion of the schedule and is expected to visit Kaveri Hospital first thing tomorrow.
