Finally the release date of Kamal Haasan's much-awaited Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu is out. The movie would hit the theatres on 25 August.

According to producer Manickam Narayanan, 'We have cleared all hurdles and ready to release the movie on 25 August'.

The movie featuring Kamal Haasan, Jyothika in the lead roles is directed by Gowtham Menon.

Kamal plays a tough cop in the movie. Harris Jeyaraj has composed the tunes while Ravi Verman has cranked the camera.

There were several apprehensions over its release. Thanks to the intervention of Tamil Film Producers Council's president Rama Narayanan, all troubles are now sorted out.

The Telugu version of the movie will also be released simultaneously.

Noted playback singer S P Balasubramaniam has dubbed for Kamal Haasan in Telugu version.
