Actor Karthi who had last appeared in the romantic entertainer Dev is next getting ready for his Diwali release Kaithi directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie will have him in a rugged look and is expected to release on October 25. On the other end, Karthi is shooting for his next, Sultan.

Sultan is the second movie of Remo director Bakkiyaraj Kannan, and the movie marks the Tamil debut of Kannada heroine Rashmika Mandanna, who has also acted in few Telugu movies. Sultan also stars KGF villain Ramachandra as the villain of the movie and has music by Sam CS.

The latest update is that Sultan will have popular 90s hero Napoleon, who is currently playing supporting roles in movies as Karthi's father. Reportedly the actor will be seen as a don in the movie. Napoleon was last seen in movies like Kidaari and Seemaraja.
