This year has a pretty long list of our much-awaited films which also include Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’. And yes, the shoot has finally wrapped up. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial film has been shot over a short period of time with a tight schedule. Now, the diva has posted a heartfelt post that thanks everyone in the team.

Taking to her Instagram on Tuesday, Katrina posted a picture where both the actress and her co-star Salman can be seen glowing and grinning. The pic was captioned as, “And that’s a Picture wrap on Bharat. Its been the most incredible & exciting character for me, the whole process of making this film has been so inspiring .....thank u @aliabbaszafar and @beingsalmankhan @atulreellife ..the bestest boys and Alvira khan ( the bestest girl)”.


‘Bharat’ initially had roped in Priyanka Chopra to play the lead role but due to her personal commitments she had to walk out of the project and within a short span of time, the makers decided to cast Katrina in that role. The film also features Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Shashank Arora in the prominent roles. It is the official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film ‘Ode to My Father’ and is set to release this Eid.
