'Kattappa' Sathyaraj bags another magnum opus?

Director Sundar C's ambitious historical fantasy flick 'Sangamithra' is in its pre-production stage and the film is expected to go on floors later this year. To be made at a cost of Rs. 400 Cr, the multi-lingual stars Jayam Ravi and Arya in lead roles. Who will step into Shruti Haasan's shoes is yet to be announced.

We learn that Sathyaraj, who has immortalized the iconic character of Kattappa in the 'Baahubali' franchise, will be playing an interesting role in 'Sangamithra' too.

We will have to wait for an official confirmation about this development.

Produced by Sri Thenandal Studios banner, 'Sangamithra' will have music by Oscar winner A.R. Rahman.
