'Konda Polam' features Panja Vaisshnav Tej as Kataru Ravindra Yadav, who hails from a family of shepherds. When he fails to make a mark in job interviews, he moves to a village, where he oversees forest-grazing by his sheep, which are threatened by wild animals. The antagonists, who have set their eyes on the forest, turn out to be bigger threats.

Ravindra Yadav falls in love with Obulamma (Rakul Preet Singh), who not only shares his idealism but also loves his nature. Director Krish Jagarlamudi seems to have indeed told a story of "becoming".

As is known, the film is based on a Telugu novel by the same name. The adaptation seems to be consummate if the visuals in the trailer are anything to go by. There are larger-than-life action scenes and meaningful lines as well.

With cinematography by Gana Sekhar VS, the film has music by MM Keeravani. Produced by Y Rajeev Reddy and J Sai Babu of First Frame Entertainments, the action romantic flick also features Sai Chand, Kota Srinivas Rao, Nasser, Annapurna, Hema, Anthony, Ravi Prakash, Mahesh Vitta, Racha Ravi, and Anand Vihari.

With the story by Sannapureddy Venkatrami Reddy, its editing is by Shravan Katikaneni. Art direction is by Raj Kumar Gibson, while choreography is by Bhanu. Keeravaani , Chandrabose, Sirivennala, and Seetharama Sastry have written the songs.

The film will hit the screens on October 8.
