Om Raut's upcoming project 'Adipurush' is among the most anticipated films under productions at this point. Ever since it's announcement, fans are endlessly talking about it. Involvement of a master director, the stunning cast that he has brought together and the amazing synopsis have all contributed to the hype of this big budget project. It will an adaptation of mythological epic, Ramayan and its going to be quite an experience to watch this go down.

It was announced quote a while ago that the Telugu superstar, Prabhas will play the role of Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan will essay the antagonist, Lankesh. There were several rumors about the casting for Sita but now they have to a stop. Kriti Sanon has confirmed that she is going to be the leading lady in this epic with a post she shared on Instagram today. She posted a few pictures with the cast and director of the film and wrote, "A new journey begins.. #ADIPURUSH This one is too special.. Proud, honoured and beyond excited to be a part of this magical world."

The film went on floors in February and its slated to release in mid of August 2022.
