The recent murder in cold blood of two small children by their own mother Abirami shook the entire state of Tamil Nadu.  The accused had a love marriage with Vijay eight years back but two months ago fell in love with a Biryani Hotel waiter and had carried on an illicit relationship. Allegedly egged on by her lover Sundaram Abirami murdered her children aged 4 and 7 and tried to elope but was arrested.

Superstar Rajinikanth invited Vijay who is a hardcore fan of his to his house where he consoled him over his irrepairable loss of his children.  Dubsmash videos that were released on the internet showed that the murdered boy and girl were also a fan of Rajini and had spoken 'Kaala' dialogues in a cute manner.
