A few weeks ago, the district Magistrate Court in Valliyoor of Tirunelveli district had ordered actor Kamal haasan to to be present on May 5, 2017 (Tomorrow) for the hearing of a case filed against him for his alleged comments against the great Indian epic Mahabharatha.

On Wednesday, the multi-talented star filed a petition in the Madurai bench of Madras High Court to be released from the case and also exempt him from appearing in person to any Court in relation to this case.

Today, the Madurai Bench which took up Kamal Haasan's petition has exempted him from appearing in Valliyoor Court tomorrow and also stayed the hearing of the case against the actor.

This will be a great relief for the actor who has recently underwent quite a few personal loses and also busy with the post production of his mega budget film 'Viswaroopam 2'.
