Yesterday there was confusion in Kollywood as to who exactly is going to star in the Tamil remake of Telugu super hit 'Temper'. In the early morning, yesterday Silambarasan participated in the pooja of his new movie to be produced by Michael Rayappan and directed by Vijay Chander of 'Vaalu' fame. It was said that this will be the Tamil remake of 'Temper'.

However in the evening it was officially announced that Vishal will star in the lead role in the remake of 'Temper'. A producer named Madhu will be producing the Tamil remake along with Ganesh who co-produced the Telugu original. The director and cast and crew members are being finalized and the film is expected to start rolling from July.

While these evoked a small confusion about what will happen to the newly launched SImbu starrer, a timely clarification from the producer Rayappan would put them at rest.

Speaking to a leading English Newspaper Rayappan has said that he has just launched a film that will have Simbu as the hero and Vijay Chander as the director and nothing else including the script has been confirmed. Though he was considering the 'Temper' remake it was only one of the options he had in mind and he was also looking upon a few other remakes as well as Vijay's own script as an option. If 'Temper' remake rights are not available Rayappan would go ahead with his alternate plans but certainly Simbu will star in the film and Vijay Chander will direct it.

Rayappan's latest release 'Eetti' starring Atharvaa was one of the super hits of 2015.
