Express Raja, which released on the same day as Dictator, has been performing very well even after the weekend, according to Sharwanand. Saying that Monday's collections prove that the film is a hit, he said that he was proud to say the film is a big success.

Earlier, the producers at UV Creations said that the film was made on a budget of Rs. 7 cr and that it grossed Rs. 5.50 cr. in the first three days. The film is poised to make profits in the first week itself.

"It all began when Brahmaji told me there was a nice story. I liked it and agreed to do the film. The audience are loving all the comedy and Dhanraj is getting all round applause despite having no dialogues. My choreographers made me dance well; so all credit for the dances goes to them," he said.

Director Merlapaka Gandhi said that he felt like breaking into a dance with joy. After his debut film Venkatadri Express, he has scored another hit in succession, a rarity in Telugu film industry.
