A good successful movie should have realistic story, talented crew, generous producer and a passionate director. ‘Naadodigal’ film going to be released shortly has them all. Samuthirakani, acts as baddie in ‘Subramaniapuram’, is director of this movie has triggered interest already in Kollywood.

The director says “I have presented realism in this movie and not heroism; how people try to handle the problems in real life is that I have given in this. He adds

“Naadodigal will not fit in any specific category; it is an emotive movie and moves around the lives of four couples. Though love is there in the movie no duets or love songs. This is what you call as realistic movie,”

Music for this movie is composed by Sunder C. Babu, has four songs, mixing of those has been done in London. Camera is done by S.R. Kathir who is the back bone of the movie as per director.

“The screenplay of this movie is unique in the sense that it will be interacting with audience”. He adds further “I have introduced about 120 faces in this movie. The important roles have been played by Neha new comer from Erode, Bharani, Ananya [from Kerala], Abinaya [debutante from Andhra], Shantini Deva [another newcomer from Malaysia]. All the actors have done fine job, Abinaya, in particular, has done a brilliant job in spite of her speech and hearing impairment.

“The story will showcase the different parts of Tamil Nadu with dialects spoken in those areas. First half of the story starts from Rajapalayam and then goes to Namakkal, Erode and to Sivanmalai. Second half of the story involves Kanyakumari, Nagerkoil and ends at Thiruchendur where the climax has been shot in nearby forest. So in this movie, as a result of the shooting in above places, you will hear the slangs of Madurai, Coimbatore, and Tirunelvelli” he explains.

As per the director, the movie is in final stage as re-recordings is on and audio will be released in May and have plans to release the movie by June.
