Only a few weeks back the foundation stone for the new Nadigar Sangam building was laid by Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and the twenty five crore project kickstarted. It is common knowledge that a lot of trouble has been faced by the organization before this.

Now in a new twist a lawyer Sri Rangan has lodged a complaint petition with the anti corruption wing of the Chennai police that upto 4 acres of land belonging to the public has been encroached by the Nadigar Sangam. According to the petition the Sangam land is only about 14 acres and that they have encroached a 33 feet connecting road.

The Vice President of the Nadigar Sangam, Ponvannan has stated that great care has been taken to make sure that such a high cost project should be done cleanly. Since this is a legal issue the legal team will handle it appropriately.
