The two films releasing tomorrow are diametrically opposite to each other. Sachin Bajaj’s ‘Naksha’ on one hand is an adventure mystery with He Man Sunny Deol back in ‘action’ along with kid bro Vivek Oberoi and Sexy Sam(eera) for company. ‘Aaditya Dutta’s ‘Dil Diya Hai’ on the other hand is a love triangle with Serial Kissre Emran Hashmi, Ashmit Patel and newcomer Geeta Basra comprising the cast. It is somewhat reminiscent of Dutta’s debut flick ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ (Also a love triangle) which is remembered more for becoming the launch pad of Himesh Reshammiya the singer-composer.

The music of both the films is moderately successful. While Preetam has composed for ‘Naksha’, Himesh gets repeated for ‘Dil Diya Hai’. Both have chartbusters, but neither of them have anything drastically different. With ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ riding high on its Gandhigiri, it remains to be seen what impact ‘Naksha’ and ‘Dil Diya Hai’ have on the ticket buying public. It only has one week to make a dent at the Box Office as 15th September shall see a deluge of releases, prominent amongst them being ‘Bas Ek Pal’, ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ and ‘Shiva’. Smaller films like ‘Janani’ and ‘Kachchi Sadak’ are also expected to hit the theatres on 15th September as well. The opening weekend assumes gigantic importance for the producers. Let’s see if the fittest emerges victorious. Amongst a spate of films.
