It's not uncommon for actresses to take up bold roles in recent times. While it’s a given that such roles would give them enough space to portray their acting prowess, many actresses are averse to such roles, say, playing a mother.  

After Nayanthara and Sai Pallavi (in the recent 'Kanam'), it's Nandita Swetha's turn to play an onscreen mother.  The 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' actress will be essaying a mother’s role in her upcoming movie. To be directed by Geetha Rajput, this one is reportedly a female-centric movie.  

While the film will be reportedly going on floors coming May 15, we can expect an official announcement regarding the full cast and crew details from the makers any time soon.
