Nannaku Prematho

If Babai is 'Dictator' at 99, Abbai is sentimentally 'prematho' at 25.  Sukumar-directed 'Nannaku Prematho..' started off generating a buzz around NTR's trendy look, a look not entirely in a mould befitting a Young Tiger.  Since then, it has caught the movie-goer by surprise more than once: one occasion was when the title that is on unexpected lines was announced.

Starring NTR in a suave role and shot at length in the UK, the film has Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead.  The recently held audio release function saw the makers and the lead star wearing their hearts on the sleeves.  Touted to be an action-family drama entertainer, the much awaited movie marks the return of Jagapathi Babu in the role of a villain after the much-acclaimed portrayal of a megalomaniac villain in 'Legend'.

If expectations from NTR are high, audience are counting on Jagapathi and Rajendra Prasad, too, to deliver memorable performances.  Rajendra Prasad, who has of late donned light-veined roles in films like 'Julayi' is expected to be seen in an author-backed role in this film.

Produced by BVSN Prasad and music-directed by Devi Sri Prasad, the film is slated for a grand Sankranthi release.

As Abhishek, NTR is gearing up for a role packed with action and drama in equal proportions.  Trust Sukumar to explore a new side to the promising actor!  Also starring in this big-ticket release are Sithara (as NTR's mother), Srinivas Avasarala (as NTR's brother), Rajiv Kanakala (as NTR's elder brother), Vennela Kishore (as NTR's buddy), and Madhoobala as Rakul's mother.

Among other reasons, the film has been talked about for its technical specialties, to be precise, the MRMC Bolt High Speed Cinebot, "the fastest camera robot in the world which is used to obtain shots of extremely high speed objects with absolute detail was used in some crucial scenes during the 40-day-long UK schedule".

If the costumes, hairdo and character of NTR have been a reason for rejoice, NTR's fans have their star sing the now-famous 'Follow Follow', which has better vocals than his previous song, 'Rakasi.. Rakasi'.

The film has cinematography by Vijay C Chakravarthy and has reportedly been made on a massive budget of Rs. 60 cr.

Sukumar, whose last script 'Kumari 21F' has been received to a mixed response, and who last film '1-Nennokadine' was critically acclaimed but a BO flop, has his stakes high.
