It's a known fact that Netflix is venturing into Tamil films with the anthology Paava kathaigal which will have four segments which will be directed by Vetrimaaran, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sudha Kongara and Vignesh Shivan and recently also released the teaser.

Director VigneshShivan has directed the segment Love Panna Uttranum starring Anjali and Kalki Koechlin and has shared few photos from the shooting and revealed that the trailer of Paava kathaigal will be released on December 3. He posted " #paavakadhaigal shoot was fun & brilliant at the same time working with solid actors ! Thank you @yours_anjali @kalkikanmani for giving your best performances !! Waiting to hear what people have to say once the film is released ! Trailer from 3rd December ??????????Movie from Dec 18th only on @netflix_in".

Vetrimaaran's segment Or Iravu will have Prakash Raj and Sai pallavi, Sudha Kongara's segment has been titled Thangam and will star Bhavani Sre, Kalidas Jayaram and Shanthanu and Gautham Vasudev Menon's segment Vaanmagal stars Simran and Gautham himself. Paava Kathaigal premieres on December 18 on Netflix.
