Amazing new changes in IPL 2018

In just about three days time the grand spectacle IPL 2018 will begin on the 7th of April and this time new technologies will be introduced and there are also some new rules which make the games all the more interesting.

The most exciting innovation in IPL 2018 is the introduction of Virtual Reality technology that will give the viewer the feeling of being inside the stadium.  Viewers have to visit Hotstar and also have their VR boxes handy for this brand new experience.

The DRS system has been introduced this IPL 2018 and each team will have one review of the umpires decision which the third umpire will decide using Ball Tracker and Ultra Edge.

Like in football , the dual jersey sytem is being introduced in IPL 2018 and each team will have different jerseys for home matches and away matches. So effectively out ot the 14 matches for 7 matches there will be a particular jersey and for the other 7 it will be different.  RCB are going with their usual red color for home and green color for away fixtures.

Players can now be transferred from one team to another in mid season itself.  But only uncapped Indian players and foriegn players who have played two or less matches for one team can go to another after the management of those two teams agree.

It is also said that due to requests from television broadcasters, the afternoon matches could start at 5.30 pm instead of the usual 4pm and the night matches will start at 8pm.

And ofcourse the ban of Steve Smith and David Warner has forced Ajinkya Rahane to take over as Rajasthan Royals Captain and Kane Williamson takes over for Sun Risers Hyderabad.
