Pawan Kalyan, who strongly pitches in his political speeches for women-related issues like safety, has lamented the deterioration of women's position in our society. In his Women's Day message, the Jana Sena chief has said that women of today don't expect to be worshipped, but they expect to be respected.

Saying that our women should be provided equal opportunities and safety, Pawan quoted Gandhiji, emphasizing how it's important to make physical safety of women complete.

Adding that reservation for women in legislatures must be made a reality, Powerstar suggested that curbing female foeticide is indispensable.
