'Penguin', written and directed by Eashvar Karthic, is a mystery thriller starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead. The film's teaser was on Monday unveiled by Samantha Akkineni.

The thriller, which is said to be semi-horror in nature, has the 'Mahanati' playing the role of a mother whose son Ajay goes missing. The unseen villain has a sinister plan in mind. What is that plan? How does Keerthy rescue her son? Answers to these questions are awaited.

Set against the backdrop of a hill station in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiris, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan.

The film's trailer will be out on June 11. 'Penguin' is going for a direct OTT release in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Produced by - Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundaram, and Jayaram, its world premiere is scheduled to take place on June 19, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
