Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, who was the chief guest at the audio release function of Raja Cheyyi Vesthe said that people today are scared of watching some of the movies. "Of late people are scared of watching some of the movies these days. Balayya's films are different, of course. But there are films made by some which make people lose their sleep during nights. Films should be healthy. Cinema should not lead to diseases," he said on a lighter vein, adding that cinema should promote values, not lead to negative feelings.

"I am the first one to wish that films coming from the Nandamuris become successful. Nandamuris have been in both cinema and politics. Of late, Rohit, too, is having fans. He is zooming ahead like an arrow after his film Banam," he said.

"Today is a historically significant day. The district collector and joint collector of the district took me to a stupa today. It was founded on this day 775 years ago to mark the coronation of Rudrama Devi," CBN said.

In his speech, he mentioned Nandamuri Tarakaratna, the heroine Isha Talwar, and also showered panegyrics on the legendary NTR.
