It's a really wonderful moment for Bollywood cinema these days..... One of the most loved films, namely 'Piku', 'Mardaani' and 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' are being showcased at the most popular Indian event in Japan - the Indian Film Festival Japan!

After regaling the Russian diaspora at the Indian Film Festival in Russia last month, YRF continues its endeavour of taking Indian cinema to worldwide audiences at the on-going Indian Film Festival Japan from 9th October till 23rd October, 2015.

This year, the Indian Film Festival Japan festival opened with a screening of the lovable 'Piku' on October 9th. One of the biggest hits of 2015 and much critically acclaimed, the film has already won laurels at Indian Film Festivals in Russia and Australia.

Director Sharat Katariya also graced this special event for the full capacity screening of his immensely adored and appreciated 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' which took place on October 10th. The much-admired and praised YRF movie 'Mardaani' will be screened later this week.

VP of International Operations at YRF - Avtar Panesar shared "It's heart-warming to see native audiences connect with our films through festivals, which eventually lead to commercial releases. Japan is a very vibrant market and we hope to build on the earlier successes we have had with 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and 'Ek Tha Tiger'."

For the records, 'Mardaani' and 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' are productions of Yash Raj Films while 'Piku' is presented by MSM Motion Pictures`, co-produced by Saraswati Entertainment and Rising Sun Films and distributed by YRF.
