Police complaint against group trying to stop Vishal's 'Irumbu Thirai'

Police complaint against distributor trying to stop Vishals Irumbu Thirai

P.T. Selvakumar the producer of 'Puli' who is distributing Vishal's 'Irumbu Thirai' has stated in a press meet that he will be lodging a police complaint and also petitioning the Chief Minister tomorrow against distributor Arulpathi.  He has alleged that Arulpathi is forcing theaters not to screen the film.

According to P.T. Selvakumar a distributor group calling themselves federation is demanding five per cent commission in each area and If the producer doesn't pay, they will block the film's release.  'Irumbu Thirai' starring Vishal, Samantha and Arjun is slated for release on the 11th of May and the trouble has cropped up now.  But it looks like steps are being taken to ensure a smooth release.
