Police grants permission for Lingaa distributors

Even after its release Lingaa is running into problems, as reported earlier the distributors of Lingaa were constantly behind the superstar ever since the movie did not meet their expectations rather monetarily. Now with back to back movies being released, even the multiplexes have reduced the screenings.

The distributors have now planned to stage a fast in Chennai to seek Rajini`s intervention in getting back their money. The Chennai city police has granted permission to the distributors to stage a fast on the 10th of January.
The claim from the distributors is that the movie suffered drastic losses in spite the fact that they paid high prices for their rights.
