Noted Telugu producer Allu Aravind has obtained the remake rights of Dhanush starrer Polladhavan.

The movie directed by Vettrimaran went on to become a hit. Starring Dhanush, Divya, Santhanam, Daniel Balaji, Karunaas and Bhanupriya among others, the movie had musical score by G.V. Prakash.

The Telugu version will feature Ram Charan Teja, son of Chiranjeevi. Director is yet to be finalised. Efforts are on to cast Divya in the role of heroine for Telugu version too.
