Popular pan Indian actor Murli Sharma lost his mother Padma Sharma due to cardiac arrest yesterday. Padma Sharma was 76, and passed away at their Mumbai residence. Last year, Murli Sharma's father Vrijbhushan Sharma passed away at the age of 84.

Murli Sharma, who's married to Bollywood actress Ashwini Kalsekar has been a part of many Hindi movies such as the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Main Hoon Na, Salman Khan starrer Dabangg and was recently seen in movies like the Prabhas starrer Saaho and Varun Dhawan's Street Dancer 3D.

Murli Sharma is also a popular name in Kollywood and Tollywood and has played villain and supporting roles in many Telugu and Tamil films including the recently released Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru, besides Tamil films like Dhoni, Pattathu Yaanai, Paayum Puli, Anjaan etc.
