Director Subramaniam Siva and Dheena are together again after a roaring success in Thiruda Thirudi. The two are known for their peppy songs with catchy beats. 'Manmadarasa' in Thiruda Thirudi is still heard in every street corners.
Interestingly, in Pori, they have come up with a mix of melodious and racy songs, the pick being Paerunthil Nee Enakku rendered by Madhu Balakrishna and Madhusree (a soft melody). Jassie Gift, Hariharan, actor Jeeva and director Subramanya Siva have sung in the album. Dheena has managed to come up with attractive tunes which are sure to become hits among the music-lovers.

A typical gaana number. Dheena has proved his mastery in coming up with such songs before. This one is no different, as it is a perfect song for front-benchers which has percussion instruments dominating the lyrics. Dheena's racy beats attract all attention.
Pookkalellam Thathuvam (Hariharan)
With Hariharan around, one can certainly expect a soft melody. But the song begins with a peppy beat. However, it changes its course immediately to take the form of a soft number. Dheena has underplayed with his instruments. Good use of violin deserves a special mention. Seemingly inspired by Ilayaraja's melody is Dheena in this song. Hats off to Hariharan, for giving life with his rendition.
Vethalam Murungamaram ( Shankar Mahadevan, Malathi)
Perhaps, the 'Manmadharasa' of the album! A racy tune with peppy instruments, the song is sure to make the audience dance in theatres. Energetic Shankar Mahadevan and Malathy are known for singing such songs. They have lived up to their expectations in the song. However, the tune reminds one of Dheena's work in Thirupachi.
Yetta Uyarathil Irukkira (Jeeva, Dhina, Subramaniam Siva)
A foot-tapping number. It is a mix of western rap and local gaana. Jeeva and Subramaniam Siva have rendered the rap while Dheena has sung the song. Unfortunately the song is loud and fails to leave great impressions. Still, it is hummable and foot-tapping.
