The 2010 Telugu hit 'Prasthanam' is currently being remade in Hindi.  Starring Sanjay Dutt in the lead, it has been produced by Maanyata Dutt and titled 'Prassthanam'.  

The news is that the film's trailer dropped on Thursday afternoon.  Touted to be an epic journey for the legacy, the political-family drama, on the face of it, is a faithful remake.  

"Sanjay Dutt's wife was emotional about the movie.  She wanted her hubby to reprise Sai Kumar's role since 2011.  Her dream has finally come true," a report says.  

The proceedings smell of Bollywoodish melodrama and larger-than-life incidents in a family.  Also starring Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey and Amyra Dastur, the emotional drama releases on September 20.
