Following Cheran and S J Suryah, director Praveen Kanth, who made movies like Star, Jodi and Ratchagan, also decided to produce and direct a movie besides playing the lead role in it.

The movie has been long completed and the audio too was released. Yet the film is still to find the light of the day.

Praveen Kanth is a worried man these days. He says, "every actor or a director should produce a movie to know the travails of a producer. Thullal has been an excellent learning experience for me as a producer. I am confident that my problems will be over soon".
