Puri Jagannadh was normal with no trace of any anxiety when his blood sample was being taken yesterday at the Telangana Excise Department building, the Osmania Hospital doctor who was commissioned for the task said.
"I took 5 ml blood sample, 50 strands of hair from the scalp, and nails of all fingers and toes. The same have been sent for forensic investigation. Puri Jagannadh was not at all anxious. We held a BP and sugar test, both of which were normal. One can't say anything about whether he consumed drugs as of now," the doctor said.
The doctor might be asked by SIT to be available to take samples from any or all of the other suspects in the coming days.
