The pre-release event of 'Raja The Great' was held on Saturday evening. The event was attended by the film's cast and crew members.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Dil Raju said, "I thank all the technicians and artists who have worked on our film. Cameraman Mohan Krishna has been appreciated right from the day the Teaser was out. Sai Kartheek's best album is this film. This is going to be Mehreen's hat-trick movie. I have known Ravi Teja for 20 years now. When 'Arya' was narrated to him, he advised us to approach someone else as he felt the story doesn't suit him."

He continued, "When we said that the hero of 'RTG' is blind, many people expressed so many doubts. This story was narrated to a few heroes. But it finally went to Ravi Teja only because it was destined to be done by him. I have seen how passionately Anil Ravipudi developed the story with a vengeance. When 'Supreme' released, he was very tensed for eight days as to whether the film was a super hit or not. It was then I advised him to write a novel story the next time. I felt that he can ensure a great movie only that way. Coming to Ravi's performance, he has nailed the role. We are sure to score a hit. 'Idiot' and 'Vikramarkudu' are considered his best performances. I am saying today that 'RTG' will stand out to be among his best, too."

Mehreen Pirzada said, "This is my 'Movie The Great'. I thank my director and my producers for this amazing project. I thank the cinematographer for his excellent visuals, be it in Darjeeling, Kerala or any other place. Sai Kartheek has composed an extraordinary music. Already the songs are a big hit. He has done an amazing background score. Dil Raju garu treated me as a family member. This film will be an inspiration to many. We wrongly see visual impairment as a handicap. But this film proves that it's not. A big thanks to my fans for their support."

Anil Ravipudi said, "When Dil Raju garu told me to come up with a novel point, I conceived this story. He was excited when he heard the story. When Ravi Teja garu came on board, a whole lot of interesting elements were added to match his energy levels. The day you watch this movie, you will say this thing for sure: Ravi Teja The Great. Such is his impeccable performance. The kind of variations and subtlety he has shown, it left me speechless when I watched the movie. I thank the producers for making this film a lavish one. They put no constraints on the budget. Mohan Krishna, the DoP, is a Telugu man who has trained in Mumbai. Venkat's fights are very logical for a blind hero. I thank my script assistant Sai Krishna. I thank Narayana garu, Praveen and others who have worked on the script. You will remember the characters of Prakash Raj garu, Rajendra Prasad garu and Radhika garu long after you leave the hall."

Ravi Teja said, "There are producers. Then there are makers like Dil Raju. His sense of judgment and involvement say it all. He works hard day and night. Mehreen is going to score a hat-trick for sure. It was a pleasure working with all the actors, including Ali, Srinivas Reddy, Raghu Babu, etc. I have reached this stage only because of my directors. And I can say that Anil Ravipudi has done a fabulous job. He is a talented actor himself. If only I have done 50 percent of what he could emote, my performance will be applauded. This Diwali, we are coming. Naku vinapadandi."
