Rajamouli praised by the big competitor

Those of you who have been complaining that Shankar is jealous of Rajamouli, the truth is out. Shankar is actually proud of the 'Baahubali' director.

At the trailer launch of '2.0' on Saturday, Shankar didn't mince words when he described the Telugu director as India's pride. "I am your huge fan," Shankar added.

It was a brief interactive session between the two directors (Rajamouli appeared at the event through a video). Answering a question put to him by Rajamouli, Shankar noted that he analyzes everything in detail while working on his movie.

Later, Rajinikanth described Shankar, Rajamouli and Rajkumar Hirani as the "gems of Indian cinema".
