Rajeev Kanakala's mother breathes her last

Smt Lakshmi Devi, the mother of Rajeev Kanakala, breathed her last on Saturday morning. She was in a bad state of health before her death.

Shivaji Raja, the President of Movie Artists' Association, and Naresh, its Principal Secretary, have condoled the death. "We convey our condolences to the bereaved family," they have said in a statement.

Survived by her soulmate Devadas Kanakala, actor-son Rajeev, daughter-in-law and popular TV host Suma, daughter Lakshmi, son-in-law Ramarao and her grand children, Lakshmi Devi is also remembered for her character roles in such films as 'Prema Bandham'.
