Rajinikanth is not above Cyclone fury

Rajinikanth, celebrated for his larger-than-life roles on the silver screen, is often regarded by fans as an invincible force capable of overcoming any challenge, even nature's fury. However, recent events have underscored that even the legendary actor is not immune to the destructive force of a cyclone.

Cyclone Michaung wreaked havoc in Chennai and the southern states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, and it has come to light that Rajinikanth's residence in Chennai's Poes Garden was not spared from the floodwaters. Despite the common belief in the superstar's invincibility, a video circulating on social media vividly portrays the impact of the flood on his home and the surrounding area.

The footage, shared on December 6, reveals waterlogging in front of Rajinikanth's house, illustrating the widespread inundation in Poes Garden. Notably, the actor was reportedly not in the city at the time, as he was away in Tirunelveli for the filming of his upcoming project, 'Thalaivar 170,' directed by TJ Gnanavel, renowned for his work on 'Jai Bhim.'

Poes Garden, an upscale locality in Chennai and Rajinikanth's residence, was significantly affected by the flooding, challenging the popular notion of the actor's imperviousness to calamities.

Expressions of concern and surprise have flooded social media platforms from both Rajini's ardent fans and the general public. The poignant question, "Thalaivarkae indha nilamaiya?" (Is even Thalaivar facing such dire circumstances?), echoes the collective worry for the beloved actor.

Rajinikanth, who recently achieved massive success with 'Jailer,' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and grossing over Rs 650 crore worldwide, is set to appear in his daughter Aishwarya's directorial venture, 'Lal Salaam,' in an extended cameo. Following this, he is slated to star in director TJ Gnanavel's 'Thalaivar 170' and has also committed to projects with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Sun Pictures.
