Rajinikanth's next, coming in the direction of Karthik Subbaraj, has been titled 'Petta'. Produced by Sun Pictures, its Motion Poster is out. The Telugu title is yet to be released.

The glitzy motion poster sees the 'Kaala' and '2.0' superstar in a vivacious mode. He is youthful but the look brings to memory the actor's avatar in 'Lingaa' (although there are major differences between the two).

Anirudh Ravichander and S Thiru are doing music and cinematography, respectively.

Editing is by Vivek Harshan. Production Designer is Suresh Selvarajan. Action direction is by Peter Hein. Kunal Rajan is the sound designer. Niharika Khan and Praveen Raja are the costume designers. Sheriff and Baba Bhaskar are taking care of choreography. VFX is being done by PRIME FOCUS.
